    MAKING OF

Stefan Erdmann took more than four years to produce
    his film ICELAND 63° 66° N.

He collected nearly 300 hours of film material during his 10 trips and travelled more than 15,000 km across the island... always alone.
Only during the aerial shots was he accompanied by his Icelandic friend Thorhallur during which time, after numerous flights and experiments they were able to capture the optimal shots.

The cameras used were the HDV-Kameras SONY HDR Z1 and CANON XL H1. Further equipment used were two Sachtler Tripod, a 6 meter camera crane, a Steadycam and a Mini-Dolly.

The car was a Ford Explorer from SIXT Car Rental.
