In the seemingly unreal light of the setting sun, waves several metres high move unstoppably and with thunderous roar toward the black lava beach of Vík í Mýrdal. This is where the journey of Stefan Erdmann begins; and from where it leads to all regions of this unique island in the North Atlantic.
